Shirley Lemon, 68, of Cannon Falls, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 30, 2017.
Shirley Doris Lemon was born May 9, 1949, in Racine, MN, the daughter of Emil Martin and Doris Alvina (Siemers) Clausen. She married Richard Phillips in 1968 and they later divorced. She was married to Robert Lemon on October 19, 1980. They resided in the Goodhue County area.
In her younger years she stayed home and raised her three children. In 1994 she went to work for Country Kitchen in Cannon Falls, a job she really enjoyed for 22 years.
She enjoyed reading, playing cards, games, working in the flower beds, and spending time with her grandkids, family, and friends.
Shirley is survived by her children, Robb Olson of LaCrosse, Tammi (Jerry) Rushford of Pine Island, and Sherie (Todd) Majerus of Goodhue; grandchildren Desarae, Robb Jr., Anthony, Kristine, Alexander, and Abigail; brothers Leroy (Karen), Cecil (Carole), Jerry (Sandy), Norman (Erika), and Ronnie; sisters Donna (Cliff), Sandra, Audrey (Daniel), and Myra (Roger); and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Carman and Leslie, sisters Donnabell and Ardith, and sister-in-law Sharon.
A memorial visitation will be on December 7, 2017, from 4-7 p.m., at the Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Highway 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
