Levi Anderson, wrestling at 126 pounds, took home top honors from the Edina Wrestling Invitational Saturday.
Anderson pinned Isaac Sisco of Grand Rapids in his first match, then took all of 19 seconds to pin Caden Fischer of St. Croix Lutheran in his next match. He then pinned Nash Nelson of Lake City before beating Aaron Meincke by 19-11 major decision in the championship match.
Colten Black took third at 106. He beat Gavid Gould of Spectrum 4-0, lost to Drayden Morton of Sibley East, then won by injury default in the third place match.
Preston Carlisle at 113 also placed third. He beat Zach Wilke of Grand Rapids 7-0, lost to Derek Steele of Sibley East, then beat Will Gorecki of Royalton 10-8 in the third place match.
Andrew Connell placed sixth at 120. He received a bye, then lost to Mason West of Lake City. He received another bye, beat Ibrahim Aloul of Blake by pin, and lost to Sam Bute of St. Thomas Academy.
Sam Ludden at 138 did not place. He beat Malachi Johnson of Edina 7-4, lost to Joe Kozlowski of Lake City, pinned Keagen Wilson of Spectrum, and lost to Thomas Deboer of Spectrum.
Dillen Anderson was sixth at 145. He lost to Gabe Gorecki of Royalton but then pinned Jairus Sorenson of Spectrum before losing to Jacob Draxler of St. Thomas.
Peter Fitterer at 152 placed fifth. He lost to Damion Thiesen of Royalton, then pinned Juan Almeida of St. Thomas before beating Ethan Aune of Spectrum by 9-0 major decision.
Chris Modrak at 160 also placed fifth. He lost to Derek Meincke of Lake City but then pinned Jackson Hauck of Andover and Aiden Olson of Royalton.
Riley Keenan was sixth at 170. He pinned Noah Brendin of Grand Rapids, then lost to Michael Kenney of St. Thomas. He pinned Miguel Maires of Sibley East and Tyson Leners of Royalton before losing to Thomas Frank of Lake City.
Beau Zimmerman at 182 did not place. He lost to Nick Hinsch of St. Croix Lutheran, received a bye, and then lost to Dylan Long of Blake.
The Bombers are at Kenyon-Wanamingo on Thursday and at Lake City on Tuesday, Dec. 11.
