Former Minnesota resident, Myron Wesley Robinson "Rob", 81, died on Thursday, January 9, 2014.
Born to William "WJ" and Irene Robinson in Red Wing, on September 23, 1932, he initially lived in Farmington and later moved with his parents to Minneapolis in 1944.
Myron graduated from Roosevelt HS in 1950. While growing up in Minneapolis, he spent most summers in Stanton with his grandparents, William "WT" and Martha Robinson, on their farm. Myron later moved to Southern California and worked in the aerospace industry until he retired in 1995 to Fort Collins, CO, with his wife, Maureen. "Moe and Rob" lived in Fort Collins for 18 years and spent their retirement gardening and canning. They loved their tomatoes and flowers.
Myron is survived by his wife of 63 years, Maureen (Fleetham); children - Kathryn Smallwood of Blythe, CA, and Michael Robinson of Denver, CO; sisters - Marilyn Haas of Minneapolis, and Carolyn Peter of Riverside, CA; uncle - Harry Robinson of Stanton, MN.
