Track teams at two large invites

The CFHS track teams were at two large meets last week, Thursday at Hayfield and Saturday at home.
The boys squad placed second at Hayfield, with the girls placing fourth.
Scoring for the girls were Kelsie Beissel, 2nd, 100m dash; Amanda Wulf, 6th, 800m run; Brooke Hogan, 5th, 100m hurdles and 2nd, 300m hurdles; Angie Hoey, 6th, high jump; Micah Jeppesen, 4th, pole vault; Mada Hofstedt, 4th, long jump; Emma Thomley, 6th, long jump and 2nd, triple jump; Dani Hansen, 4th, triple jump; and Allison Egge, 6th, shot put and 6th, discus.
Three relay teams placed in the top four. The 4x100 (Beissel, Hofstedt, Thomley, Maggie Rutter) was 1st, the 4x200 (Hansen, Rutter, Karly Friedges, Hoey) was 2nd, and the 4x400 (Hansen, Hoey, Annika Thomley, Wulf) was 4th.
Scoring for the boys were Jack Holscher, 2nd, 100m dash; Gus Foss, 4th, 100m dash, 2nd, long jump and 4th, pole vault; Chase Jacobson, 3rd, 400m dash and 2nd, pole vault; Kyler Banks, 4th, 400m dash, 1st, long jump and 3rd, triple jump; Connor Rohr, 2nd, 800m run; Thor Hanson, 5th, 800m run; Max Rueger, 6th, 800m run and 6th, triple jump; Karl Ritzman, 3rd, 1600m run; Anthony Kane, 3rd, 110m hurdles and 2nd, 300m hurdles; Zach Dockter, 4th, 110m hurdles and 5th, 300m hurdles; Alex Bultena, 1st, high jump; Zach Stiehl, 5th, high jump; Joey Rademacher, 6th pole vault; and Tanner Holt, 6th, discus.
All four relays placed. The 4x100 (Zach Holes, Luke Dubbels, Holscher, Foss) was 1st, the 4x200 (Ethan Dalton, Ryan Epps, Gabe Hall, Mason Lundell) was 5th, the 4x400 (Dubbels, Bultena, Holscher, Banks) was 2nd, and the 4x800 (Hanson, Epps, Rohr, Ritzman) was 4th.
Cannon Falls hosted its annual invitational on Saturday, with nine teams coming from as far away as Two Harbors. The girls finished third and the boys fourth.
Scoring for the girls were Beissel, 3rd, 100m dash; Grace Hall, 6th, 200m dash; Hansen, 3rd, 400m dash and 6th, triple jump; Mia Holscher, 4th, 800m run; Katherine Hoffman, 1st, 1600m run; Sophie Epps, 6th, 3200m run; Hogan, 2nd, 100m hurdles and 2nd, 300m hurdles; Kaly Banks, 6th, 100m hurdles and 5th, high jump; Anna Nelson, 7th, 100m hurdles; Samantha Anderson, 7th, high jump; Jeppesen, 5th, pole vault; Kira Jacobson, 4th, pole vault; Hofstedt, 2nd, long jump and 4th, triple jump; and Egge, 2nd, discus and 6th, shot put.
Three relays scored. The 4x100 (Beissel, Hofstedt, Grace Hall, Alana Robinson) was 2nd, the 4x400 (Hansen, Hoffman, Payton Cooper, Hogan) was 3rd, and the 4x800 (Hoffman, Wulf, Annika Thomley, Cooper) was 2nd.
Scoring for the boys were Foss, 6th, 100m dash; Ritzman, 4th, 1600m run; Kane, 6th, 300m hurdles and 8th, 110m hurdles; Bultena, 4th, high jump; Stiehl, 8th, high jump; and Beau Rueger, 3rd, triple jump.
Relays that scored were the 4x100 (Holes, Dubbels, Beau Rueger, Foss), 4th; the 4x200 (Dalton, Gabe Hall, Ronny DeGarmo, Lundell), 6th; the 4x400 (Banks, Dubbels, Beau Rueger, Jacobson), 3rd; and the 4x800 (Ritzman, Hanson, Cole Grosland, Rohr), 4th.
Both squads were at Faribault Tuesday.
