Registration is still open for sixth annual Falls Duathlon on April 26 presented by Final Stretch. The Saturday event will begin at 9 a.m. at Hannah's Bend Park in Cannon Falls.
Less than 30 minutes from downtown St. Paul or Rochester, this duathlon takes place around the Cannon River with the bike route traveling through the scenic countryside of the Cannon Falls area.
All participants will enjoy hot dogs from Thousand Hills Cattle Company, fruit from Econofoods and refreshments at the finish line. In addition, each participant will receive a participant shirt and a chance to win a Gear West Bike and Tri Gear Bag valued at $625.
Early bird registration will save participants $10 on the event if registered before April 22.
The Falls Duathlon event, managed by Final Stretch, Inc., provides a healthy day of running or walking and biking for any age or ability. Over 300 participants are anticipated for the event.
