The Randolph Railcats lost both playoff games this past week.
On Tuesday Randolph was defeated by the Cannon Falls Bears, 13-0. Cannon Falls jumped to a 5-0 lead after the first inning and never looked back.
Phil Otto started on the mound for the Cats, going 3 1/3 innings, allowing 11 runs, 10 earned on 10 hits, striking out two. Scott Otte and Trevor Otte both pitched in relief.
Paul Weidner had two hits and Derrick Otte had a double. Dillion Sellner and Sean Serres also added hits.
On Wednesday, the Railcats lost to Lake City 7-2 to end their season. Lake City used a 4-run 3rd inning to pull away.
Derrick Otte started on the hill for the Cats and went three innings. He allowed six runs on five hits and four walks. Ty Vincent pitched five innings in relief, allowing one run on two hits while striking out eight.
Scott Otte had two hits for the Railcats. Weidner doubled, and Sellner and TJ Nordling each had a hit and an RBI. Otto and Vincent also had hits.
