The RHS boys basketball team opened up the year 2013 with a non-conference win over Triton, 69-64.
Randolph played good defense against Triton's leading scorers, and led most of the game before Triton fought back to take a lead late. "We didn't panic, calmly executed, and made it tough for the Cobras to score," coach Tony Linbo said.
Ryan Hoey had two points, Jake Dubbels 16, Alex McKay six, Drew Weidner seven, Eric Otte three, Austin Moorhouse 16 and Chris Feidt 19.
The Rockets came back against Janesville and didn't play as well as they have. "It was a completely different team," Linbo said. "We couldn't get anything going and were letting them do what they wanted." In the end the Rockets fell 78-43.
Hoey had two points, McKay four, Keagan Nitz two, Weidner eight, Trevor Otte seven, Eric Otte two, Moorhouse five, Feidt four, and Kyle Volkert nine.
RHS played Monday night against Lyle-Pacelli, but came out flat and found themselves down big in the 1st half. They were able to come back a little, but ultimately lost 80-64.
