The Bomber C-squad volleyball team had a great year, compiling a 17-1 record with only a loss to Kasson-Mantorville. They were also champions of the Cannon Falls tournament, tallying five wins with no losses.
"More than a championship and a great record, I feel the true measure of the girls' season is how they conducted themselves during it. They were hard working and respectful young ladies, and their parents should be proud," coach Lee Gisvold said.
"We worked to put a product on the court that was fun to watch, and if there is any criticism of these girls, it's that they're too hard on themselves; if I had a dollar for every time I heard the words 'but it is so embarrassing' when talking about a mistake on the court, I'd be a richer man.
"The team and I would like to thank the families, other Bomber coaches and fans who came out to see us and for helping us to become better volleyball participants. With your support, we made it a great 2012 volleyball season."
