Emi Trost continues to burn up the cross country course, winning two more meets last week.
The junior won the Zumbrota-Mazeppa/Kenyon-Wanamingo Invitational Thursday, with a time of 14:43.1. Second place finisher Sally O'Brien of Waseca had a time of 15:18.9.
Katharine Hoffman placed 22nd, Amber Edwards 36th, Emma Thomley 38th, Ashleigh Dralle 46th, Rianne Lund 59th and Karina Ritzman 63rd. Esther Pranke was 18th in the junior varsity race, and Maria Jensen and Silka Ritzman also competed. Annika Thomley, Jenna Kremers and Tessa Barnes raced in the junior high meet.
Bjorn Pearson paced the boys, placing 31st with a time of 18:51.3. Karl Ritzman was 35th, Connor Rohr 42nd, Tyler Wilson 45th, Karl Trost 57th, Jacob Peine 67th, and Ethan Dalton 80th. Roman Wundrow ran in the JV race. Riley Eddy was 4th in the junior high boys race, Wyatt Allison was 5th, and Cobie Vagts was 18th. Vinnie Davisson and Matthew Katterjohn also competed.
Trost turned in a time of 14:33 in winning the New Prague Invite Tuesday, Sept. 25. Hoffman was 31st, Thomley 47th, Edwards 49, Dralle 56th, Lund 61st and Pranke 66th. Karina Ritzman, Jensen, Lissette Boyette and Silka Ritzman competed in the JV race, and Jenna Kremers, Annika Thomley and Barnes in the junior high race.
Rohr had the best finish for the boys, placing 50th. Pearson was 58th, Wilson 61st, Ritzman 63rd, Trost 71st and Peine 79th. Eddy was 3rd in the junior high race, with Allison, Vagts and Davisson also running.
