Goodhue County Sheriff's Report

Tuesday, August 19:

Damage to a loader in Stanton Township was reported by Anderson Trucking. The incident occurred between August 15-19. A loader was driven around, got stuck, batteries were run down and the cab window was damaged. Damage estimate is $500.

Ingred Kaiser reported damage to property on County 25 Blvd. in Cannon Falls Township sometime within the last week. Trash was dumped on property and patio furniture and a garden trailer were stolen. The total value is $750.

Saturday, August 23:

Gary Robinson, Stanton Township reported an ATV theft in progress. He was working outside and heard his ATV start up, and observed someone driving away on the ATV. Cannon Falls Police stopped a person on an ATV on Oxford Mill Road. Craig Munson, 47, Cannon Falls, was booked and charged with motor vehicle theft, driving after cancellation and inimical to public safety. He was held, appeared in court August 25, and was released on his own recognizance. His next court appearance is scheduled for November 21.

James Wynne, 50, Cannon Falls, was booked by Red Wing Police for 2nd dgree DWI and .08 or more. He was released after posting $12,000 bail. October 16 is his next court appearance.

Sunday, August 24:

Lynn Lingle, 51, Cannon Falls, was booked by Cannon Falls Police for 5th degree assault, misdemeanor domestic assault and gross misdemeanor assault. She appeared in court August 25 and was released on her own recognizance. Her next court appearance is scheduled for September 11.

Monday, August 25:

Two pickup campers were reported vandalized in Welch Township by owner Derek Kulla, Hastings. Damage is estimated at $3,000.
