Religious political boundary

To the editor:

"To profess love for a Creator while behaving in ways that abuse creation, is to live a lie."

That quote, in one sentence, explains my distaste for the burn all our coal, pump all the oil, mine the soil, pollute the waterways, ravage with war, over-jail, under educate, over propagate agenda of the T half of the RT party. The objectives of reverence are conserve, protect, transfer as a posture of awe.

I'm unchurched, because much of organized religion is in incestuous bed with money changers in The Temple - the Karl Roves who infest the religious right, the Supreme Court that savaged the principal of "created equal," one man-one vote, by opening the door to foreign and domestic corporate money, and that of organized crime to pollute the process of democracy.

The terminal event of "decline and fall" of nations is foreign war, of which we have an 11-year, 1.5 trillion dollar example. That is giving us economic dysentery. Our currency is down 50% in buying power as a result.

Maybe Wikileaks didn't open the military archive of waste far enough.

Robert Eugene Molenaar, M.D.

P.S. - A Poem:

The 10th Boy

It was the 10th day of the 10th month

An early frost and trees

Burdened with color

And air so silent

Breath sounds intruded.

No bell sounds called to worship

In that interlude

One was immersed in wonder

But then my cheek felt breath

Like a caress, and a stirring

Of leaves, like a sigh

Before sleep

A single leaf spiraled

The invert image on water

Blurred as tears might

In both sadness and times of joy
