2012 was an interesting year for the city of Randolph, its citizens and award-winning school system - with so many "area improvements" scheduled for 2013 including:
1. Adding over 400+ trucks DAILY to local roadways, endangering school children and citizens (not to mention road deterioration, noxious fumes, dust and noise),
2. Supporting 100+ "unit trains" which have the potential of blocking emergency responders within the city and local area, and impairing traffic,
3. Enabling the Great Western Industrial Park to accommodate industries which admittedly will emit pollutants into the air and discharge pollutants into local Chub Creek and Lake Byllesby - where are the "clean industries?"
4. Standing by silently as all of the above most assuredly will affect the QUALITY OF LIFE for the city, students and staff members in its proud school system, and the many healthy citizens of the area.
