Dennison Days is this weekend, August 1-2, rain or shine.
On Friday, August 1, a kids dance party will be held from 6-8 p.m. at MarLea's. There will be music games and prizes.
Food stands open at 6 p.m. on Friday.
MarLea's will host lip sync from 8 p.m. -12:30 a.m. on Friday as well.
At 7:30 a.m. Saturday, sign up for clutchmen truck and tractor pull.
Saturday from 8-11 a.m. an all you can eat Dad's Waffle Breaksfast will be served. Eat waffles, sausage, coffee, juice and milk under the Mainstreet tent, sponsored by Kwik Trip and the Dennison Lions. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for kids 12 and under.
Citywide garage sales and street vendors also begin at 8 a.m. as does the Classic Car Show on Mainstreet, hosted by the Clutchmen Car Club.
At 8:30 a.m. there's Euchre at City Hall.
Then at 9 a.m. the kids pedal pull hosted by Matt Braun is on Mainstreet and the truck and tractor pull begins north of the circus tent.
The food stands open at 11 a.m. and the Dennison Lions hosted Joel Stenhaug Memorial Horseshoe tournament begins in City Park. There will be wagon rides, weather permitting, and a dunk tank - watch for times all day.
Flom Brothers Construction hosts an 11:30 a.m. softball game at the city park.
At 1 p.m. a kiddie parade leads off the main parade in downtown.
The Circus, North of Dennison Lutheran Church is hosted by Dennison Lions and Fireside Lounge at 2 p.m., and Bingo will be played under the Mainstreet tent.
Then there is the road rally at 2:30 p.m.
The second Circus show is at 4:30 p.m.
Round bale races on Mainstreet are at 5:45 p.m. and at 6 p.m. Dennison's Got Talent is under the Mainstreet tent.
There is a keg toss with prizes at 7:30 p.m. and from 8:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m., enjoy live music from Jonah and the Whales on the Mainstreet stage for a $10 cover charge for those 18 and older.
