The 24th annual Little Log House Antique Power Show is coming up next weekend from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day, Friday through Sunday, July 25-27, featuring fun for the entire family.
With food and refreshments available, admission is $10 for adults or $20 for a weekend pass. Children 12 and under are free.
Daily events will include living history demonstrations, re-enactments by Cannon Old West Society and by Camp Hastings WWII on Saturday and Sunday.
New this year, is a 1940s fashion show on Saturday at 2:15 p.m.
The St. Joseph's Church pancake breakfast from 7-9 a.m. is offered daily and a parade marches through each day at 11 a.m.
A tractor and truck pull will take place on Saturday at 4 p.m. Primitive camping is also available without reservations.
All weekend, be entertained by The Squires Band from noon to 4 p.m.
Max Thompson, twelve years old, will be performing from noon-4 p.m. at the Hall House all weekend. He plays the piano and accordion.
Other attractions include historic St. Boniface Church; a large flea market and crafts; lumber and shingle sawmills; antique tractors, farm equipment, trucks, cars, etc.; Millinery and dress shop; threshing; gas engines; rock crushers; children's barnyard; hand printing press; blacksmith shop; one room schoolhouse; fully stocked general store; and large annual and perennial gardens with thousands of blooms.
Joining Porky's Diner is the Cottage View sign which was new last year. New this year the original Red Wing Stoneware building and the Franzmeier Market building (a 1900s seed store from Hastings) have been added to the village.
An 8 a.m. Sunday Mass will be held at the festival stage (weather permitting).
