New to the 2014 Cannon Valley Fair a shade canopy will cover the new stage for the Tuesday, July 1, Battle of the Bands at 8 p.m., and the country super group Hitchville, at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 3.
Hitchville has quickly solidified themselves among the upper echelon of regional talent with their hit single "Whoop It Up."
Both major attractions are free.
Other new attractions include a Pioneer Photography display on Wednesday, July 2, at 2 p.m.; Robotic puppets roaming the grounds on Thursday, July 3, from 2-6 p.m.; Siberian Huskies dog sled demonstrations on Friday, July 4, at 2:30, 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.; and the Half Pint Magic Show on Friday, July 4, at 3:30 and 5 p.m.
Returning attractions include the Cock-A-Doodle Zoo on Wednesday, July 2, from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Thursday, July 3 from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.; and Friday, July 4, from 1 - 10 p.m.
Ms. Jaz-ee the Clown will be at the Cannon Valley Fair on Wednesday, July 2, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.; Thursday, July 3, from 4-6 p.m.; and on Friday, July 4, from 2-4 p.m.
Ed Lorentz will be back with his Wood Workshop on Wednesday, July 2, at 3 p.m.; Thursday, July 3, at 1 p.m.; and Friday, July 4, at 4 p.m.
The Dave Carpenter "Contriband" will take the new stage from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2.
Returning with her Wool Spinning Workshop, Cindy Fisher-Broin will demonstrate on Thursday, July 3, at 3 p.m.
Completing the first daily musical lineup at the Fair, the Ray Sands Band will perform on the new stage from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, July 4.
