3/20/2014 11:23:00 AM Assault reported in Leon Township
The Goodhue County Sheriff's Department received a call at 7:54 p.m. on March 14 that a subject had threatened someone, damaged their vehicle and then left the residence.
Jordon Kalina, 19, Zumbrota was booked into the ADC for 2nd Degree Assault, Criminal Damage to Property, Disorderly Conduct, and Terroristic Threats after threatening another 19 year old male with a knife and breaking two windows in the victim's vehicle.
The victim was visiting a friend at a residence on Skunk Hollow Trail in Leon Township and was leaving the residence when Kalina arrived and started to threaten the victim. The victim entered his vehicle and Kalina continued threatening the victim, and was kicking and hitting the victim's vehicle. Kalina started brandishing a knife and continued threatening the victim. As the victim was attempting to leave in his vehicle Kalina broke out two windows in the victim's vehicle. The victim was able to get away from the residence and Kalina left the residence also.
Kalina was located at a residence in Cannon Falls and was taken into custody without incident.
