6/6/2013 2:38:00 PM 45 grads cross the stage in Randolph
The Randolph High School Class of 2013 totaled 45 students. The 95th Commencement for the school was held on June 1.
Jackie Sczepanski, High School Band Director, lead the Band throughout the program.
Principal Benjamin Fisher welcomed those gathered to witness the milestone.
Valedictorians Jami Kusilek and Trevor Otte spoke, mixing a serious message of gratitude to the school and community with some humorous memories of the graduates' school years.
A Senior video presentation was made by Dezi Prinzing and Max Stoesz.
The commencement address was made by high school teacher Richard Qualey. Qualey's "Last Lecture" passed on words his father gave him at his graduation:10 percent action is better than 90 percent good intentions; the little things are impoortant; being well liked is great, but being well respected is golden; and you are always leading.
Scholarship presentations and presentation of the Class of 2013 were made by Principal Fisher.
Diplomas were presented by School Board member Garlan Dubbels, School Board Treasurer Jay Otte, and School Board Clerk Steve Weidner.
Junior escorts were Ashleigh Dralle and Jacob Hines.
Class colors are orange, blue and white, and the class flower is orange tipped white rose.
The 2013 Class Motto is: "Dreams are not those you have while you sleep. Dreams are things you lose sleep trying to reach."
